Always making stuff
I'm Amy Endemann. New York-born, California-transplanted since 2005. I love to surf, but I still walk too fast.
Creating from scratch is my happy place.
Borrowed Salt LLC is born from the wealth of knowledge picked up from building and scaling businesses over the last two decades, with experience from billion-dollar CPG brands to early-stage startups.
I’ve had the privilege of building two businesses and three marketing teams from the ground up. I’m energized by new challenges and spaces that expand my world.
After a long stint in advertising, I got my MBA, worked at the largest CPG food company in the world, went to culinary school, worked as a food photographer, tackled DTC and subscription marketing in meal kits and nutrition, and ended up in health tech and clean energy.
I began leading distributed teams in 2018, where I learned a thing or two about communication, process, and building relationships across time zones.
I’ve redirected my energy from big brands with small souls to smaller brands with big missions. From healthy food to healthy mind to healthy planet, I like making good things that make an impact.
On the side
I write recipes inspired by other people’s kitchens.
